2007 - A New Beginning

2006 was a very interesting year for me - both in my professional and personal life.
I am super-looking forward to what 2007 has in store.
This photo was taken yesterday at my friend Ashlee’s wedding. The lighting of the candle sums up my thoughts. Let 2007 be a new beginning!

Surprisingly I am feeling hopeful for the new year too — I suspect it has to do with being at that wedding also. I think two things in life are declarations of absolute optimism: getting married and having children. Essentially you’re saying, “I will make this promise to someone even though all statistical probabilities are stacked against us and there is no way to predict what the future holds.” Can you send me some more pictures from the wedding?
